Course Overview

In this class, children will embark on an exciting journey to discover the joy of reading and writing. Our curriculum is carefully crafted to make learning enjoyable and accessible for young minds. Through interactive activities, playful exercises, and creative projects, students will develop essential skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Learning Objectives

1. Alphabet Familiarity:

   • Recognize all 26 letters of the English alphabet.

   • Understand the difference between uppercase and lowercase letters.

2. Phonemic Awareness:

   • Identify the sounds that each letter makes.

   • Begin blending sounds to form simple words.

3. Basic Vocabulary:

   • Learn common sight words and simple vocabulary.

   • Practice reading and recognizing these words in context.

4. Early Writing Skills:

   • Practice tracing & writing letters

   • Develop fine motor skills through free-hand writing activities and activities that strengthen finger & hand muscles.

5. Story Time and Comprehension:

   • Listen to engaging stories read aloud.

   • Answer simple questions about the stories to build comprehension skills

• Phonics Songs: Catchy songs that make learning phonics enjoyable and memorable.
