Strange things happen on this day...
What is a child's favourite question? That's an easy one:)
"Why?"
Why is the sky blue? Why do ladybugs have spots? Why did dinosaurs go extinct?
Why is that lady fat? Why? Why..? Why..?!
That is why today today we celebrate The International Curious Events Day! A great day to take the time with your kids to discover the answers to all life's pressing "Why", "Where", "When"-questions.
Today is the day, when we focus on the inexplicable, baffling and peculiar mysteries of the world! Basically, anything that makes you stop in your tracks, scratch your head and ponder. Such as: "where do all the socks disappear to after I finish the laundry?" or " I could have sworn I left my keys here 10 minutes ago" (the Black Hole Theory explains these phenomena well).
Ever wondered why you close your eyes when you sneeze, or why you open your mouth when applying mascara (it happens to ALL of us, ladies, no matter how hard we try to fight it...;)
But also: "Where does Bigfoot come from?" and "Does the Loch Ness Monster exist?"
Take the time with your kids today to answer some of life's most mysterious questions! Heaps of fun guaranteed!
